lego project!

5th class are doing a knex project we're doing fair grounds the pink group are doing art.The yellow group are doing a haunted house.the red group are doing bumper cars.The blue group are doing the ghost train. The green group are doing the ferris wheel.The purple group are doing the blog.Everything looks fun.We are working very hard.

This week 5th class our lego group are making bumper cars and a haunted house for our creative fun fair.The knex group are making a ghost train and a ferris wheel.The art group are painting backgrounds for the fair. Were all having lots of fun competing for the robo show and with all the hard work going on hopfully it will turn out well.

Today in 5th class we are doing lego.Three girls in the red group are making bumper cars with the lego and it looks pretty amazing.Fives in the red group too and making a haunted house with the lego too they are useing red and white lego blocks to make it taller and taller.The pink group are paint the background for a project.There are three pink ladies painting are two wooden boards and there are lots more groups doing lots more amazing stuff too.

Lego Project!

5th class are making another lego project this year. This year we are making a fair ground. Last year we made things from our novel "Tom Crean,Ice Man". It was great fun last year and we were so happy when we found out we would get to have the experience again. Now this year we are more in control of the project because last year was our first year and we weren't sure what to do. This year the class is split up into groups and every week every group moves on to a different activity. Miss O' Donovan, Miss Nolan and Miss Lynch organize this and the class appreciates all thier hard work. All the groups have different activities and they are all lots of fun. All the groups have different names so its easier to remember where everyone is. For this project we do knex, lego, art and the blogs. Everyone who works at this project does really hard work. Once the class had lots of ideas they got into pairs and started to sketch out drawings of models they could make for the project.

The girls have done lots of work on the project so far. First of all the whole class brainstormed ideas on the interactive whiteboard. Then the girls divided into groups and one group worked on starting the blog in the computer room.

5th class LEGO project Day 1 6th of March 2009

Today in St.Eithne's 5th class is coming up with idea's for a Lego competition.We got split into groups. We are Kit-Kat,Nicky,Kate's. Our group are doing a Shopping centre we were deciding to do moving escalator's,lift's,people,door's and a car park with moving car's in New York City.There will be an Airport not to far away from our shopping centre and there will be a fun fair near by too.We will have lifts,escalators's,people,doors,signs,shops,an airport,fun fair,cars,car park,planes and buses.
